Paper Mario Version Testing
October 29, 2012
N64-J is about 3.8 seconds faster than N64-US
English Emulator is about 4 seconds faster than N64-J and about 7.8 seconds faster than N64-US.
Japanese emulator isn't shown here, but it's faster than everything else by a big amount and shouldn't be allowed.
The emulator and japanese look really close, but it's not when you add 3 seconds of getting mario early at peaches castle, and saving 1 second in screen transitions into the hall way.
I have to redo the video because amarec froze in a weird spot, but the frames are still the same.
Remember that the times are estimates because the bowser segment is player controlled, but the point is the emulator is faster and should just have it's own category.
